Police Reacts To Video Of Lady Being Beaten For Sleeping With Friend’s Boyfriend In Delta

A disturbing video making the rounds on social media shows a young woman being violently attacked by a group of students at the Delta State University (DELSU) affiliate campus in Mosogar, Delta State.

It was gathered that the assault was linked to accusations that the victim was sexually involved with another student’s boyfriend.

In the video, one girl can be seen flogging the victim while interrogating her about her relationship with the boy in question. Moments later, more of her friends joined in, hitting and shoving the lady around inside a room.

The attackers also tore her clothes, leaving her half-naked, while recording the degrading scene.

Reacting to the incident, the Delta State Police Command, in a post on its X handle, condemned the act and urged members of the public to help identify the victim.

The command asked that anyone with useful information should reach out via direct message on social media or call 09155570008, 09155570007.
