The moment comes just days after Davido appeared on Carter Efe’s Twitch livestream, where both of them drew massive attention online.
Their session broke records and became the most-watched Twitch stream by African users.
During the livestream, Davido had publicly promised to give Carter Efe ₦20 million.
However, after some time passed without the money coming in, Carter Efe was seen in a video jokingly saying he was nervous about reminding the singer about the promise.
Davido has now fulfilled the pledge, and Carter Efe shared the good news on Instagram.
In the video, he thanked the singer and couldn’t contain his joy, rolling on the floor and celebrating the surprise cash gift.
He also added a humorous jab at Boniface Victor, claiming he had taken his phone home after winning a bet during the livestream.
