The crash happened on Sunday afternoon along the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos, shortly after Peller reportedly went through a breakup with his girlfriend, Jarvis.
During the livestream, which he titled “RIP Peller,” the Tiktoker was alone in his car, visibly upset, and speaking on the phone, apparently with Jarvis.
In the video, Pelled appeared distressed, crying, and making alarming statements about his feelings and fears of public ridicule if the relationship ended.
At one point, the Tiktoker said he might use the car to hurt himself, though he tried to reassure viewers that he wouldn’t endanger others.
“I will use this car and have an accident right now,” he said during the livestream, and later added,
“I’m scared. I’m scared. If you break up with me, people will be mocking me, they will be mocking me, they will be mocking me, they will be, they will be mocking me, they will not… Thank you, I’m going to kill myself.”
Moments later, footage showed him lose control of the vehicle and crash into a barrier.
Bystanders rushed to help him, and he was taken to a hospital. The extent of his injuries has not been confirmed.
Peller and Jarvis have had a turbulent relationship, with public arguments, breakups, and reconciliations shared online.
KanyiDaily recalls that Peller recently accused Jarvis of allegedly making money through a money laundering scheme on TikTok.
