In the video shared online, the BBNaija star spoke about the pressure women face in society, stressing that it often feels like life is simpler for men.
According to her, men seem to have a more direct path, as they are expected to focus on working and earning money.
Phyna contrasted this with the many limits placed on women, saying they are often judged and restricted in ways that discourage them from aiming high.
She said, “I wish I was a guy. I feel life is much easier for men. It’s more straightforward for them because it’s clear they have to work hard to make money.
“But for girls, I feel like we’ve been stigmatised. There are so many rules and restrictions around us. It often feels like a woman is not supposed to dream big. I just feel like I want to be a man.”
Phyna’s remarks triggered mixed reactions with some people agreeing with her views on gender inequality and social pressure, others disagreed.
KanyiDaily recalls that Phyna recently shared her thoughts on motherhood, saying she is not interested in having biological children.
