“Please Link Me Up With A Kind And Responsible Man” – Comedian Princess Begs Nigerian Pastors

Nigerian comedian Damilola Adekoya, popularly known as Princess The Comedian, has gone on social media to openly talk about being single and her desire to find a partner.

In a video shared on her Instagram page, Princess appealed to several popular clergymen she follows online, asking them to help connect her with responsible and kind single men in their churches.

She explained that she decided to make the request publicly because many of the pastors often encourage people to be bold and take action rather than only pray.

According to her, she is single despite being divorced and believes there should be suitable men within their congregations.

Princess said she had previously sent messages and left comments on some of their posts asking for help, but was often mocked by social media users.

The comedian insisted that her message was serious, stressing that faith should be backed with practical steps.

Calling out Pastor Bolaji Idowu, Pastor Phillip, Pastor Jerry Eze, Apostle Selman, and Apostle Femi Lazarus by name, she questioned whether it was possible that across all their church branches, there was not a single responsible and kind man in his 40s or early 50s.

Comedian Princess added that the pastors do not need to do much, but simply send her the Instagram handles of suitable single men from their churches so she can take things forward herself.

“In this video, I will be call out Pastor Bolaji Idowu, Pastor Phillip, Pastor Jerry Eze, Apostle Selman and Apostle Femi Lazarus. I am sure you guys know you have congregants, physical ones, you also have the people who follow you online and I have heard so many things from you, how to be bold and back up what you say with action which is why I am making this video.

“I am single even though I am divorce, I am single and I have sent messages to a few of you or commented on your videos to say ‘’Help a sister! There must be a responsible, kind man in your congregation who is in his 40s or early 50s. Help a sister’.

“Some people come under the comment to mock me but I am doing this video because we cannot just be praying and fasting. We have to back it up with action.

“Pastor Phillip, Pastor Bolaji Idowu, Pastor Jerry Eze, Apostle Selman, Apostle Femi Lazarus, are you saying in your whole church, in all the branches, there is not one man that is responsible and kind? Haba now!

“You say we should bot lock our DM, we didn’t lock. This January 2026, I am begging the five of you to go through the list of people in your church that are single, the men, responsible and kind, that are in their 40s or 50s.

“You don’t have to do anything1 Just send me their Instagram handle, I will take it from there!” she said.
