Nigerian Man Killed In Battle Field While Fighting For Russia Against Ukraine

A Nigerian man has reportedly lost his life while fighting for Russia in the ongoing war against Ukraine.

The development was confirmed on Monday, February 2, 2026, by journalist Jaafar Jaafar and security analyst Zagazola Makama.

According to Makama, the man had travelled from Northern Nigeria to join the Russian military.

He described the incident as tragic, noting that the man left behind his family before heading to the battlefield, where he was later killed.
