During a meeting with selected journalists on Monday, Nyesom Wike said he remains popular with many Nigerians and believes that support would reflect strongly at the polls.
According to him, people across the country still appreciate his leadership style and would back him in large numbers if he enters the presidential race.
“Nigerians still love me, and if I run for the presidential election, they will vote for me massively,” he said.
The former Rivers State governor pointed to his time in office in Rivers and his current role in the FCT as proof of his performance in public service.
The FCT Minister said his projects and policies show his dedication to improving living conditions.
Wike also spoke about the recent local council elections in the FCT, stressing that his political allies would win again even if the polls were conducted a second time.
He maintained that his experience, achievements, and connection with grassroots supporters position him as a strong candidate in any future election.
KanyiDaily recalls that Nyesom Wike also said that Senator Ireti Kingibe will not win another term in 2027 because she has not delivered any visible projects for residents.
