In a viral video, the singer, dressed in a white sweatshirt and carrying a school bag, was seen involved in a tense argument with some young men believed to be area boys who tried to stop him from performing at the show.
Portable was heard angrily asking why they were preventing him from going on stage, while also accusing one of the youths of pinching him.
As the situation grew tense, several people stepped in to calm things down, including a man wearing a soldier’s uniform.
Despite attempts to restore order, the drama worsened as Portable removed his clothes and moved toward those interrupting his performance, apparently ready for a confrontation.
The exact reason why the men wanted to stop Portable’s performnce is still unknown at the time of filing this report.
The show, tagged “Alagbado Easter Fiesta,” also had appearances from other Afrobeats stars such as Fola, Zinoleesky, D’banj, and Fuji artiste Malaika.
