Her response comes after a viral audio recording from Ilebaye’s father, Emmanuel Odiniya, in which he alleged that the reality star exposed her younger sibling to drugs, a situation he said led to the boy being expelled from school.
Emmanuel, who was addressing the viral video of Ilebaye’s bruised face after he allegedly assaulted her, also made other claims about their disagreements.
In a tearful conversation with LIB, Lami Odiniya described the allegations as false and an attempt to damage her daughter’s reputation.
She said her ex-husband is trying to shift attention away from recent incidents, including a video showing Ilebaye with visible injuries after a confrontation at his home.
Lami insisted that Ilebaye has never used drugs and did not introduce her brother to any harmful substances.
“Yesterday, I was very traumatized. For a father to come out to l!e against his child is so traumatizing.
“Ilebaye is not on drugs and she did not introduce her brothers to drugs. My not being in the house is because of the emotional abuse from the father always,
“We have been abused constantly in that house, Ilebaye is going through a lot, emotional abuse from the father. She is not on drugs.
“Whatever he came out to say, let God be the judge, since he has come out to destroy his daughter’s image in public.
“Because he assaulted the child, then he came out to play the victim game for people to see the child as a bad child.
“Well, all I know is that God is in control and he knows why everything is happening at this time,” she said.
Lami added that she is leaving everything in God’s hands while hoping the truth becomes clear.
KanyiDaily recalls that Emmanuel Odiniya was previously arrested for allegedly assaulting Ilebaye at their home in Royal Anchor Estate, Wuye, Abuja.
