Victor Udoh’s Mother Arrest His Girlfriend, Friends After His Death From Suspected Food Poisoning

The mother of late Nigerian footballer, Victor Udoh, has reportedly arrested his girlfriend and friends after his death from suspected food poisoning.

KanyiDaily had reported that the 21-year-old, who once played for Southampton F.C, died in Abuja earlier this week “under suspicious circumstances.”

Paris-based sports journalist Ojora Babatunde has now revealed that the player’s mother allegedly arranged for his girlfriend and some of his friends to be arrested.

This followed claims that Victor Udoh may have died from “suspected food or alcohol poisoning”.

Babatunde noted that the situation is still developing, with reports indicating that those close to Udoh at the time of his death have been taken into custody.

Hr wrote on X: “Developing story: Victor Udoh’s mother has reportedly had the deceased’s friends and girlfriend arrested in Abuja.”

“According to multiple reports, former Southampton F.C. and Royal Antwerp F.C. winger, Victor Udoh reportedly died in Abuja last night following suspected food or alcohol poisoning. 

“The 21-year-old winger was believed to be on holiday at the time of the incident.” 

KanyiDaily had also reported how a nursing student was arrested following the death of a university lecturer who eat her food in Minna, Niger State.
