Speaking during an interview with media personality Korty EO, Elumelu explained that success is not always based on intelligence, talent, or hard work alone.
He said many people assume the most skilled or hardworking individuals will always come out on top, but that is not always the case.
According to him, timing, opportunities, and fortunate circumstances can make a huge difference in a person’s life and career.
Tony Elumelu described himself as a product of luck, noting that while dedication and preparation are important, having the right opportunities at the right time also played a key role in his achievements.
“At times you don’t come out successful because you are the best in class or because you’re the fittest or most energetic, sometimes you need luck and I’m a product of luck,” he said.
KanyiDaily recalls that Tony Elumelu has invited Afrobeats superstar, Davido, to his house for the birthday celebration of his daughter, Oge Elumelu.
