Eight days after six-year-old Miss Kosisochukwu Akilo was kidnapped
from her home in Enugu, the abductors had yet to contact the family. A close family source who preferred anonymity told the News Agency of
Nigeria, NAN yesterday that the family had remained in the dark about
the whereabouts of the girl. The source said the kidnappers made away with two mobile telephones
belonging to the girl’s mother and wondered why they had not called.
