Former Super Eagles midfielder, Christian Obodo, was kidnapped on this morning by gun-wielding men in Efunrun, Delta State. Obodo, who plays for Italian clubside Udinese arrived the country few weeks ago after the conclusion of the Seria A season.

Eyewitness said the ex- Flying Eagles star was snatched from the Zion
Ministry Church located on New Layout Road, Efunrun, by the gunmen. His fate was uncertain at the time of this report. Details shortly.
