That Rihanna brand just won’t let up! The Pop rebel stunner can now add cosmetic giants MAC to her ever-growing list of endorsements after signing an unprecedented deal with the firm.
MAC revealed that they have paired with the Roc Nation star for multiple collections of color cosmetics that will be unwrapped over the course of this year.
Up first from the set, which has been christened ‘RiRi [Hearts] MAC’ will be RiRi Woo – a lipstick inspired by the singer’s favorite MAC red, Ruby Woo. And in flexing her business savvy and getting off to a smart start, Woo’s release will coincide with the New York leg of the star’s ‘Diamonds Tour’, where MAC will open a pop-up shop on the first night (May 4th) to premiere the line.

Deeming her lucrative union a “no brainer”, the Bajan singer added “when you think of makeup, the brand that pops into your mind — for something legit — is MAC. Whatever color you want, it’s like ‘Let’s go to MAC.’ I’ve been using MAC on tour for such a long time it was a natural fit for me. I have always loved makeup, and I always said that if I do it, I want to do it with a credible brand.
Being creative is something that I love, so I can put that into different outlets. Music happens to be the first thing that I gravitated to, and now music opens doors to just so many different opportunities, and they all tie in. My makeup looks, my fashion looks…they help me to express myself as an artist. I think it helps people to understand me or my mood, my story.”
And Demsey is not exaggerating. MAC are-in essence-insisting that the 25 year old “come and put your name on it”. For, her name will appear on the packaging, while her signature will be embossed on the RiRi Woo lipstick case, on the bullets of the summer lipsticks, as well as several of the fall and holiday pieces.
When singing that “there’s so much power in my name”, RiRi was not lying. She has cemented her diva game proper and is now strutting on it. Rihanna {Hearts} MAC, and we heart her. Can’t wait to snap up the collection.
