The crash, which occurred at Igbogui Village, involved a tanker with registration number GA 71 XA, a truck owned by Dangote Industries Limited and a Young Shall Grow Motors luxury bus.
The fire spread to a nearby mechanic workshop where eight other vehicles got burnt.
A nearby local market, called Igbogui Market, also got burnt. The incident caused traffic gridlock on the two carriage ways.
Rescue activities, according to the Federal Road Safety Corps and Civil Defence Corps, was still on as at press time and total casualties yet to be ascertained.
