Atiku Feeling Confident About Winning Next Year’s Presidential Polls After Endorsement From UK’s The Economist

PDP’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar after getting an endorsement from UK’s The Economist, he’s feeling energized and confident about winning President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 presidential election. An endorsement that placed him in a better position to win against Buhari in next year’s presidential poll.

The UK based Economist Magazine predicted that President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC will lose the 2019 presidential election to the former vice president and PDP’s presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.

Atiku is very thankful to The Economist for their prediction, he took to his twitter account to express his gratitude.

In recent weeks Atiku Abubakar has been campaigning on the issues concerning the economic state in Nigeria, trying to prove to Nigerians that he’s the better candidate that can boost the economy in Nigeria.

This report by The Economist which reveals him to be Buhari’s likely successor has given him the needed boost. The report reads:

“With the vote likely to be split in the north, Mr. Abubakar will find it easier to garner support from the country’s south, which has traditionally been a safe haven for the PDP.

“This gives Mr. Abubakar an edge, as does popular frustration over the rise in joblessness and poverty (two of the biggest voter concerns) on Mr. Buhari’s watch, as well as growing insecurity in central Nigeria.”
