Nicki Minaj’s former stylist, Maher Jridi, is suing the “Barbie Dreamz” rapper for non-payment of $73,000 for his services.
According to Page Six, Jridi said he has suffered major financial hardship because Minaj has not paid him. In the lawsuit, he claimed he rented clothes from Cloak Wardrobe for Minaj to wear during Paris Fashion Week last year. The rapper wore the clothes but never returned them, and now Cloak Wardrobe is coming after Jridi for $13,000 over their missing clothes. He is now responsible for paying them back out of his own pocket.
Jridi also claims Minaj has not paid him for styling her for the “Regret In Your Tears” music video.
Instead of clearing the air, Nicki is now selling clothes with ”NICKI STOPPED MY BAG” phrase on it.
She recently revealed her new merchandise which includes bookbags, t-shirts and jackets. In colors pink, white and black, all the merch has ‘NICKI STOPPED MY BAG’ across their center.
