UPDATE: Why I killed His 2-Year-Old Son And Dumped His Corpse Inside Toilet – Jealous Lover Confesses

Earlier, we did a report on a lady, Chinyere Ndubiife, who was arrested for allegedly killing her neighbor’s 2-year-old son just to punish his father, Promise Samuel. Read the report HERE.

While she is in the Tolu police custody, One of the allegations raised by Ndubuife, 30, after murdering two-year-old Wisdom, was that Samuel dated her for several years and made her carry out several abortions, leading to her womb being damaged.

But when it was time for Samuel to marry, he eventually didn’t marry her. He instead went to his village and took a wife.

Samuel said he only dated Ndubuife for just one year, and during that time she never had any abortion for him. Samuel said:

“For the period we dated, I took very good care of her. When it was time for me to marry, I went for my town’s lady; someone from Akwa- Ibom State. In fact, I still used to give Chineye(Ndubuife) money after I got married. I don’t know what else she wanted from me. I was surprised when she claimed that I damaged her womb.

She was just angry that I left her for another lady.”

On how he discovered his son’s body, Samuel, Samuel said that immediately he received a phone from his wife that their son was missing, he quickly jumped into his car and drove recklessly, almost bumping into people.

When he got home, the search for Wisdom heated up and he was eventually found. Samuel said:

“We later found my son inside the toilet. His head was covered with a red cloth. That was how I found the remains of my son. I immediately went to Tolu Police Station to lodge a complaint.

The policemen came and arrested everyone in the house, including my landlord. The police later got to know that it was Ndubuife that killed my boy, Wisdom

They found out from Ndubuife’s niece Chinasa, who was crying. She said that her aunt sent her to go and buy noodles. Chinasa said that when Wisdom wanted to go with her, Ndubuife refused.

On hearing that, the police arrested Ndubuife. That ‘s how she later confessed to the crime at the police station.

Wisdom’s distraught mother, Mrs. Menyene Promise, said that she fainted when she saw the corpse of her son. She recollected:

“I was sleeping in our apartment when Ndubuife sent Chinasa to call my son.

“I sent her away, but she came back, explaining that her aunt (Ndubuife) wanted to give Wisdom some academic tutoring. I allowed Wisdom to go because he was crying. I didn’t know that would be the last time I would see my son.”

“When I woke up, I went outside to check on Wisdom. But everyone said they had not seen him. That was how I started searching for him.

“I called his father and told him the development. He rushed home and we both started searching for him. Unfortunately, Ndubuife had killed my son before Chinasa returned from where she went to buy the noodles. I have not been myself since discovering my son’s corpse.”

The suspect’s and complainant’s landlady, Mrs. Esther Samudare, urged the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Edgal Imohimi to investigate the case very well and prosecute Ndubuife accordingly. She added:

“The mother of Wisdom conceived him in this my house. The boy was also killed in this my house. I don’t see why a woman would kill another woman’s son because the father of the boy didn’t marry her. It’s bad!”

The President of Akwa- Ibom forum in Ajegunle, Olodi Apapa zone, Mr. Marshal Udom, explained that when the incident occurred, he went to the police station. He heard Ndubuife confessing to have killed Wisdom because she, “wanted to punish his father.” She said that the boy’s father had wronged her. She said that she couldn’t conceive anymore due to abortions she had done after getting pregnant for Samuel.”

Udom further said:

“The suspect told the Tolu Divisional Police Officer (DPO) that it was Samuel she wanted to kill, but all efforts to kill him failed. She then decided to go after his son.

While attempting to kill Samuel, she would go to a spot where she and Samuel used to meet as lovers; fortunately, Samuel had stopped going there. And then she went for Wisdom. She lured the boy to come to her apartment for a lesson. She then sent her niece, Chinasa to go and buy noodles.

She took Wisdom; hit his head on the wall before she finally used a stone to smash on his head. She then dumped his body inside toilet. Before I returned from the police station, Samuel had buried Wisdom, but we exhumed and deposited his remains at the military hospital mortuary, Yaba, awaiting autopsy.”

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Chike Oti, while confirming the incident, added that the suspect had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigations and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Panti, Yaba, for further investigation.
