American Rapper, Soulja Boy is accusing Ariana Grande of stealing his swag (flow) insisting that she should give him credit.
It all started after Soulja Boy came in contact with the recent comparisons being made between his 2010 hit song “Pretty Boy Swag” and Ariana Grande’s newly released single “7 Rings”.
The rapper caught wind of the comparison, and shared an Instagram video that played clips of the songs back-to-back to points out the similarities during a segment, adding the comical caption, “Arianaaaa?????? Ariana?!,”
On Saturday, the rapper responded to one of Grande’s tweets in which she thanked several of her friends for inspiring “7 Rings.” Soulja, realizing his name wasn’t included, demanded recognition for the track.
In another tweet where Ariana Grande seemingly responded to previous fan criticism of the similarities between the songs, Soulja Boy further wrote, “Stop stealing my swag.” And in adding more, Soulja even commented on Ariana’s tribute “miss u” tweet to Mac Miller and wrote, “You’re a thief.”
Grande has not responded to Soulja Boy’s tweets.
