Special Assistant To Delta State Governor Assassinated By Unknown Gunmen, Hours To Proposed Election

The special assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Community Development, Hon. Ngozi Ijei Akpomiemie, Has been assassinated by unknown gunmen, hours before the election was postponed.

According to eyewitnesses, the masked gunmen who came in a Red Jetta, shot Mr. Ngozi to death at about 10:15 pm on 15th of February (yesterday night), at Afieki Road, Ekpan, Delta State.

Until his death, Mr. Ngozi was the Youth Leader of Ekpan Community.
