R. Kelly wants you all to take it easy on him as he has landed a new paid gig that will be taking place in Springfield, Illinois.
Over the past couple of months, R. Kelly has been facing several allegations of sexual abuse and physical abuse against women including underaged girls. These allegations have hindered the singer from getting paid gigs and therefore not having money.
In a new video posted on Instagram by R.Kelly, he is asking the media to take it easy on him as he has been paid for an appearance at a club. He said:
“Yo, this is your boy Kells and I got an event to do tonight in Springfield, Illinois, so I want the media to take it easy on me, man.”
He continued, “This is how I got to get paid for right now. So if you see me in the club, with a couple of drinks in my hand, and chilling, please, take it easy.”
