APC Lawmaker Donates Wheelbarrow To Truck Pushers As Constituency Project [Photos]

Maigari Bello-Kasimu, a House of Representatives Member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), representing Jalingo, Yorro, and Zing Federal Constituency of Adamawa State, has distributed wheelbarrows to truck pushers as part of his Constituency project in the State.

Bello-Kasimu, who was represented by his Public Relations Officer (PRO), Saidu Giwa Na-annabi, handed over 14 wheelbarrows to the members of the Truck Pushers Association, Zing Branch, in a very light celebration.

Speaking with newsmen, the Representative of the Lawmaker lamented that youth unemployment is a menace not just in our society, but the world at large.

“All of them used to hire wheelbarrows and push to earn their living, but now they have the opportunity of owning their personal wheelbarrows”, he said.

Bello-Kasimu charged the beneficiaries to see the gesture as a challenge and opportunity to grow, saying that, he was also like them who suffered hard to finance his education.

He, therefore, called on the beneficiaries to use their strengths in order to harness their potentials, as he rightly said: “An idle mind is the devil’s workshop”.

Furthermore, the Lawmaker warned them to shun drug abuse and other forms of criminal activities.
On his part, one of the beneficiaries, Aliyu Jidda, expressed their appreciation over the gesture, promising to make economic use of the items.
