Davido Deserves Respect For Doing What Others Couldn’t Do With African Music – Kiddominant

Popular music producer, Kiddominant has taken to his social media to demand respect for Davido, who he claimed single-handedly took African music to the world stage with his 2017 hit single; “Fall.”

An American Online magazine, Pitchfork had made a list of the world’s best 200 songs of the last 10 years, and “Fall” by Davido at number 163 position on the list.

Kiddominant, who was the producer of the single, took to his Instagram page and demanded that music fans show more respect to Davido because of the milestone he has achieved by doing what other African music creators couldn’t do.

“We sat in the studio and created something that achieved what generations of African music creators tried to achieve. We kicked the door down and made Afrobeats the big name it is now. I’m gunna say this for the lunatics on Twitter .

“Whatever you do, put some respect on that name “DAVIDO”. And when you’re doing your lil producer arguments keep my name out of that shit. God bless,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, KanyiDaily had reported that “Fall” by Davido is the most Shamazed Non-American song in the US.

Also, the song hit 100 million views on YouTube, making it the most viewed music video by any Nigerian artist on the streaming channel, YouTube.
