Couple Cancel Their Wedding After Raking N10 Million In Donations, Asks Family And Friends For More Money

A couple has pulled a fast one on their friends and family after raking $30,000 (N10M) donation for their wedding, before canceling it and asking for even more money.

The bride shared a Facebook post where she updated guests that after “much reflection” and “tear-filled conversations,” she and her husband have decided to cancel their wedding.

She goes on to thank all her friends and family who had donated to their wedding fund – revealing that they rack up an incredible £23,280 ($30,000).

Instead of returning the donated money or put it towards their rescheduled wedding, the couple reassured their nearest and dearest that they won’t be letting the money go to waste as they are will blow it away on their honeymoon.

The bride further revealed that they would still need money if they decide to do the wedding in future and urged their friends and family members to continue donating while thanking them for the making their honeymoon dream a reality – check out the full list below:
