Former Senator representing Kogi West District at the National Assembly, Dino Melaye has issued a 24-hour ultimatum to The Nations Newspaper to pull down a report about his multi-billion naira mansion.
KanyiDaily recalls that Dino Melaye had taken to his social media page on Wednesday to flaunt his tastefully furnished luxurious home.
The Nations Newspaper had reported that the former senator ‘acquired a multi-billion naira new mansion.’
In reaction on his Instagram page, Dino Melaye gave The Nations Newspaper, 24 hours to pull down the story and apologise.
He clarified that his palatial home which he shared the photos on January 21, 2020, was built before he became a Senator in 2015.
“I Give Nation Newspaper 24 Hours to pull this story down and apologise. A house built before becoming a senator is newly aquaired. They did not state address and manifest thier disdain with the attached write up. National newspaper now practicing YELLOW Journalism.” he wrote.
