Dbanj Reportedly Loses Ambassadorial Deal With Hertage Bank Due To His Rαpe Case With Seyitan

Popular Nigerian singer, D’banj has reportedly lost his ambassadorial deal with Heritage Bank due to the rape allegation levelled against him by a young lady, Seyitan Babatayo.

While Heritage Bank has not confirmed the rumour, it would be recalled the bank signed Dbanj on his 40th birthday just few weeks ago.

KanyiDaily recalls that two weeks ago, Seyitan narrated how Dbanj raped her during an all-white party in 2018, at Glee hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos State.

Although D’Banj has denied the rape allegations via his Instagram handle and even sued the lady for a N100 million compensation, reports circulating the social media indicates that his deal with Heritage Bank have come to a halt.

At the time of filing this report, the management of Heritage Bank has not issued an official statement to confirm his suspension as their ambassador, but reports on Twitter claims that the partnership with singer has been cancelled.

Meanwhile, Seyitan Babatayo has stated that she’s done with all these back and forth drama surrounding her rape allegation, adding that she is moving on and leaving everything behind.
