“I’m Innocent Until Proven Guilty” – Dbanj Says As He Dances To Rαpe Allegation Against Him [Video]

Popular Nigerian singer, D’banj has said that he is “Innocent until proven guilty”, in reaction to the rape allegation leveled against him by Seyitan Babatayo.

KanyiDaily recalls that two weeks ago, Seyitan narrated how Dbanj raped her during an all-white party in 2018, at Glee hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos State.

The 50-year-old singer has since then denied the rape allegations and asked his accuser to make a public apology published in four national dailies and also pay him the sum of N100 million in damages.

In a video post shared on his Instagram page on Monday, D’banj could be dancing and singing along to his 2008 hit single “Olorun Maje”.

“Innocent until proven guilty…., STOP SOCIAL MEDIA TRIAL #SAY NO TO RAPE AND HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATION”, he captioned his post.

Meanwhile, Seyitan Babatayo has stated that she’s done with all these back and forth drama surrounding the rape scandal, adding that she is moving on and leaving everything behind.
