Six months after the closure of all schools nationwide by the Nigerian government to curb the spread of coronavirus in the country, the Federal Government has announced the full re-opening of all the 104 unity schools in Nigeria by October 12.
The minister of education, Adamu Adamu made the annoucement in Abuja on Friday, October 2, 2020.

He disclosed that the decision was reached after exhaustive meetings were held with stakeholders in the public and private sector.
He advised all institutions to obey and adhere to the presidential task force guidelines on re-opening on schools.
