A nursing mother and her kids were rescued at midnight after police officers found them stranded around Funso Williams Avenue, Lagos State.
Lagos State Police Command said the woman was seen at about 1:15am on Friday, and was unable to drive because her car battery was low, so they helped jump-start the vehicle.
In the statement issued on its Twiiter page, the police said they also assisted her with petrol before escorting her to Mile 12 make sure she was safe.

“When asked where she was actually headed she told them Mile 12. Knowing how unsafe it was, they escorted her to a safe spot before carrying on with their patrol for the night,” the police said.
