Nigerian music star, Mr Eazi has revealed that fast-rising singers, Omah Lay and Ms Tems, would soon be released from detention after they were arrested for violating covid-19 guidelines in Uganda.
KanyiDaily had reported that Omah Lay and Tems were arrested by the Ugandan police, shortly after their performance on Saturday night at The Big Brunch, a concert that held at Speke Resort, Wavamunno Rd, Kampala.
On Monday, the singers were dragged to court for flouting COVID-19 guidelines in Uganda. The singers were subsequently remanded to prison until Wednesday, December 16, 2020.
However, in a tweeet on Tuesday, Mr Eazi revealed that Omah Lay and Tems would soon be released, adding that the issue have been resolved.
The musician also thanked the Government of Uganda and the Chief Of Justice In Uganda for resolving the issue.

KanyiDaily recalls that Omah Lay had earlier cried out on social media over his arrest and detention, saying he was in cuffs with Tems, and that they had tried to secure their bail but all to no avail.
