A violent clash between two rival groups of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) have sent residents into panic at Obalende area of Lagos State.
According to eyewitnesses, the clash which started around 8am on Thursday, led to panic in Obalende as motorists, passengers and passersby scampered for safety.
In a video circulating the social media, gunshots could be heard being fired as residents and passersby run in different directions for safety.
Sirens could also be heard in the video, indicating that security personnel have been deployed to the scene. There have been no reports of casualties.
