“28 In Lagos, 14 In Rivers” – Nigeria Records 47 New COVID-19 Cases As Total Hits 165,559

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 47 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 165,559.

The NCDC made this known on Wednesday night via its official Twitter handle where it disclosed that the new cases were recorded in four states.

According to the new report, Lagos state led with 28 new infections, followed by Rivers – with 14, Akwa Ibom – 1 and Ekiti – 1″.
