A video has emerged online showing the moment a young lady ruined her marriage proposal after she mistakenly slapped the face of her boyfriend while jubilating over the engagement at a Supermarket in Calabar, Cross River State.
In the viral video, the man could be seen on his knee asking for his girl’s hand in marriage. She said ‘Yes’ to his proposal and was overwhelmed with emotions at seeing her boyfriend on one knee with an engagement ring.
While onlookers waited for the guy to put a ring on her finger to symbolize the ritual, the overly excited lady mistakenly gave her boyfriend a slap across the face.
Confused at her reaction, the guy angrily stood up and walked out of the premises as witnesses to the interesting spectacle kept watching the drama unfold.
Realizing her mistake, the lady tried to make amends with her angry lover who was walking away without completing the engagement, but he shoved her hand away.
