How A Man Assaulted And Rαped 27-Year-Old Woman For Not Greeting Him [Video]

Ogun State Police Command has paraded a 33-year-old man, Imoleayo Adekoya, for allegedly assaulting and raping a 27-year-old lady at Ipoji area of Sagamu.

Adekola was arrested on August 27 after the victim reported to the police that while she was coming from the Ipoji area of Sagamu, the suspect accosted her and accused her of not greeting him.

The lady said she apologized to him that it was because she did not know him. But surprisingly, he pounced on her and started beating her before he dragged her to the back of his house, where he forcefully tore her clothes and had sex with her, despite her shouting and struggling.

When interrogated, Adekola confessed to the commission of the crime, but blamed his actions on having consumed alcoholic drinks and Indian hemp.

The Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun had ordered that the suspect be transferred to state CIID for further investigation and prosecution.
