The Lagos state police public relations officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, has reacted to the viral video of a policewoman screaming and crying for help after the driver of the vehicle zoomed off while she was still in the vehicle.
This video which went viral on social media stirred mixed reactions with lots of Nigerians airing their distinct opinion as regards the act.
Reacting to the clip, Hundeyin asserted that it is a felony to kidnap anyone, especially a law enforcement officer on duty. He went on to declare the man (driver) a suspect while disclosing that investigations has commenced.
”Irrespective, I repeat, irrespective of whatever the police officer must have done (un)professionally, kidnapping anyone, especially a law enforcement officer on duty, is a felony. This man is already a suspect. Investigation has commenced.” Hundeyin stated.
