The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi has paid a courtesy visit to the Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, in Delta State.
The former Anambra governor visited Olu of Warri on Friday evening on the occasion of the monarch’s first anniversary of ascension to the throne.
Activities marking the Olu of Warri’s anniversary celebration continue this Saturday at Ode-Itsekiri, the ancestral home of the Itsekiri, with cultural display and homage paying by Itsekiri sons and daughters home and abroad.
The week-long programme is expected to be rounded off on Sunday with thanksgiving service at the Palace Church in Warri.
