Two members of a one-chance gang notorious for operating along Funsho Williams Avenue, have been arrested by operatives attached to surulere division, the Lagos State police command has said.

Police Spokesman in the state, Benjamin Hundeyin, stated this in a statement issued on Wednesday night and posted on the twitter handle of the state command.
He gave the names of the suspects as Usman Hussani, aged 21, and Ebuka Ukechukwu, aged 25.

He said the duo was arrested following a distress call received from a victim shortly after he was dispossessed of his phone and other valuables.
According to him, items recovered from the suspects are 2 mobile phones, 2 SIM cards, one Sterling Bank ATM card, one UBA cheque booklet belonging to one Ugochukwu.
He added that a brand new tricycle with registration number LSD 360 QN used by the gang was also recovered.
“Suspects will be arraigned once investigations are concluded,” his statement reads.
“The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, fdc hereby encourages residents of Lagos state to always remain vigilant and keen-eyed, especially when boarding public vehicles.”
In other news, Kanyi Daily had reported that the Lagos police command had confirmed the death of one person after Oro worshippers clashed with church members holding a vigil in the state.
According to command spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, the incident was clearly a murder case, adding that suspects have been arrested.
