Daddy Freeze Secretly Marries Benedicta Elechi After Court Fined Him N5m For Adultery

Media personality, Daddy Freeze, has secretly tied the knot with his lover, Benedicta Elechi in the United Kingdom after a Nigerian court ordered him to pay the sum of N5m for committing adultery with a married woman.

On February 18, 2021, Freeze was ordered by a High Court in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to pay the money to Paul Odekina, who was married to Elechi at the time the adulterous act was committed.

Odekina had taken the media personality to court for having an affair with his then-wife who the Judge referred to as a “self-acclaimed adulterer” and welcoming a child with her.

In his ruling, Justice Akpughunum awarded N5 million against Freeze as damages for depriving Odekina of the amiable consort of his wife and for the injury suffered as a result of his adultery with the married woman.

The Judge then proceeded to dissolve the marriage between Odekina and Elechi due to the woman’s adulterous act with Daddy Freeze.

It was gathered that the media personality has now secretly married his lover in a low-key wedding in the UK, which was attended by family and close friends of the couple.

In photos and videos circulating on social media on Tuesday, September 27, Freeze could be seen rocking a black tuxedo suit while Elechi adorned a green off-shoulder dress, which accentuated her curves and exposed her cleavages.

Popular celebrity UK-based preacher, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega and Freeze’s mother Smaranda Olarinde with a small circle of friends, witnessed the couple become husband and wife.
