A video circulating on social media shows the moment a female artiste who was performing at the Freshers’ Fair of Babcock University was stopped mid-performance over her choice of outfit.
In the viral video, the lady could be seen performing on stage while her audience gave her their attention and even sang along before a woman approached her and tell the DJ to stop the music.
The Babcock University authorities then take her offstage and a bit of commotion is seen between the school staff and the artiste who rocked baggy trousers and a tank top for her performance.
During the drama, some students who did not approve of the disruption were heard screaming “go away” at the staff, while another voice is heard saying: “It doesn’t make sense.”
A TikToker, Andrea Eyonsa, who shared the video said, “POV: They stopped her performance cause of what she was wearing.”
Babcock University is a private Christian university owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Nigeria.
KanyiDaily had also reported how Babcock University expelled a young lady who was seen in a viral video having sex with a former student of the institution.
