Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Gifty Powers has taken to social media to tackle Nigerian celebrities over their failure to help Nollywood actor, Hanks Anuku.

KanyiDaily recalls that a man, who bears the same physical appearance with Hanks Anuku, was seen in a video looking unkempt and haggard on the streets of Benin.

The man was also seen talking to himself as people recorded him and expressed their dismay that the once bubbly actor may be mentally unstable allegedly due to drugs.

While it’s yet to be confirmed if Anuku is actually the one in the video and if it is from a movie set, the video has attracted a lot of reactions on social media, with many users voicing their concerns.

Taking to her Instagram page, Gifty Powers slammed “actresses who sleep with politicians”, “actors who do yahoo” and other entertainers, for failing to help the actor.

The reality star lamented how people sacrifice their souls just to show off on social media and make the youngsters feel that their efforts have been nothing.

“It’s funny the so-called celebrities post their luxuries on their page, yet they can’t afford to contribute something on behalf of Hanks Anuku.

“The so-called multi-billionaire daughters and fathers, the ones married to upcoming politicians, the actresses who sleep with politicians, the actors who do the yahoo, the singers, the musicians… It’s a shame y’all can’t come out to support a colleague who is running madly on the streets.

“Well, it’s the world we live in. People sacrifice their souls, just to show off on social media and make the youngsters feel that their efforts has been for nothing.

“And after hanging their dirty undies outside, they come on their page and write “with God all things are possible”….small girl big God”….”we thank God for it all” as their caption…Na thunder go fire all of una.. Fools in the ’30s, 40s, etc,” she wrote.

KanyiDaily recalls that Hanks Anunu had recently addressed the controversy trailing his health, asking those spreading and writing fake stories about him to leave him alone.

The actor confirmed that he has been on the movie set, adding that the Holy Spirit will forgive those riding on the footage and pictures from a movie set to destroy his image.
