Jacob Funmi Ogunmola, the candidate of Accord Party for Atisbo/Saki East/Saki West Federal constituency in Oyo State, is dead.
The deceased, who is the former Chairman of Atisbo local government, died a few hours after attending a political function in Saki.
According to The Nation, the politician breathed passed away when he was being moved from Saki, his base to Lagos.
A source told the publication that Ogunmola had just finished a programme in Saki when he complained he was not well, which prompted the move to take him to Lagos.
Ogunmola’s successor in office as council chairman, Wasiu Owolabi, died in a car crash a few months ago.
KanyiDaily had also reported that the PDP House Of Representative Candidate, Sola Arabambi, died last Saturday.
