Lagos State Police Rescue Thief From Angry Mob After He Stole From National Stadium

The Lagos State Police Command says officers of Surulere division rescued a man from an angry mob after he stole from the store of the National Stadium.

Spokesman of the command, Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this in a tweet on his handle on Tuesday.

Hundeyin said the man was rescued on January 25, 2023, at about 8:30 am.

According to him, the man stole two electric switch boxes and twenty-eight electric circuit breakers.

The police image maker also said the suspect had been arraigned and is currently on remand.

He wrote, “On January 25, 2023, at about 8:30 am, police officers of Surulere Division rescued a man from an angry mob after he stole from the store of the National Stadium two electric switch boxes & twenty-eight electric circuit breakers.

“Suspect has been arraigned & is currently on remand.”

Meanwhile, Kanyi Daily reported that Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye has reacted to the attack on President Muhammadu Buhari by angry youths who hauled stones at his convoy during an official visit to Kano.
