The Lagos State Police Command says officers of Surulere division rescued a man from an angry mob after he stole from the store of the National Stadium.
Spokesman of the command, Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this in a tweet on his handle on Tuesday.
Hundeyin said the man was rescued on January 25, 2023, at about 8:30 am.
According to him, the man stole two electric switch boxes and twenty-eight electric circuit breakers.
The police image maker also said the suspect had been arraigned and is currently on remand.
He wrote, “On January 25, 2023, at about 8:30 am, police officers of Surulere Division rescued a man from an angry mob after he stole from the store of the National Stadium two electric switch boxes & twenty-eight electric circuit breakers.
“Suspect has been arraigned & is currently on remand.”
