A petrol station, Orange fuel Station in Dei Dei Area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, has exploded.

According to reports, an eyewitness at the scene of the incident confirmed that a few persons lost their lives in the inferno.

It is not clear what caused the fire disaster.

The witness said several cars and okadas were also burnt.

The witness said, “Please remember us at Dei Dei Abuja, Orange fuel Station just exploded into flames now. A few feared dead. Several Cars & Okadas burnt. Pray for us it’s a very trying moment for many families.

“Fighters battling to put out the flame. Their response was instant but because of hold up it took some time to drive in.”

The incident comes one day after Kanyi Daily reported a fire outbreak at Sumal Foods Limited, located at Oluyole Industrial Estate, in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
