Passengers Trapped As Container Falls On Fully Loaded Bus At Ojuelegba Bridge [Photos/Video]

A truck carrying a container has fallen on a commercial bus filled with passengers at Ojuelegba bridge in Lagos State.

It was gathered that the accident happened on Sunday afternoon when the truck wanted to block the bus from overtaking him.

Eyewitnesses said two people lost their lives in the incident. Others said all passengers and driver of the bus are feared dead.

According to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) efforts are being made to rescue the victims.

Lastma officials on Twitter also wrote, “A container laden truck has fallen on a bus at Ojuelegba, inwards Fadeyi. Effort is currently being made towards rescue and evacuation.”

KanyiDaily had also reported how another container fell on two cars at Apapa area of Lagos state.
