Actress Lizzy Gold Cries Out As Her House Help Allegedly Abscond With €1000 From Her Room

Nollywood actress, Lizzy Gold Onuwa has accused her house help of stealing her €1000 and absconding to Aba, Abia State.

In a video shared on her Instagram page, the actress revealed that the housekeeper has been leaving with her for about six to seven months until she suddenly told that her she wanted to return home in Aba.

Lizzy said she had given the housekeeper her ATM card to withdraw her transport fare, as well as buys foodstuffs since there was no food at home.

The actress revealed that she had returned home late from a movie set when her other housekeeper told her that she had left the house.

Lizzy narrated how she went to her room and noticed her clothes were scattered all over the place and her €1000 stolen from her drawer.

She said called her housekeeper’s phone but it was switched off and so she called the girl’s mum to inquire if her daughter is in Aba.

The actress noted that when she told her housekeeper’s family about the missing money, the girl denied taking the foreign currency.

Lizzy said she hasn’t been able to get any footage of the incident, but she is still certain because the girl was the only one who knew where she kept the money.

She added that the police in Aba are now involved in the case as she has sent the girl’s details to them to help track her down.

Sharing the video, Lizzy Gold wrote: “Am so sad right now…my house keeper stole 1000 euro and ran away..am so hurt…do we still have good people in this world?”
