Yul Edochie To Nigerians: Confirm Authenticity Of Information Before Posting

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie on Friday, called on Nigerians to confirm the authenticity of election-related information before sharing it online.

Yul Edochie made the call in a tweet on his official Twitter handle.

The actor claimed that many fake news are flying around.

According to Yul Edochie, some people sit in their homes, create stuff, and post it as news, lamenting that information could set the country ablaze.

He thereby pleaded with Nigerians to verify before posting or reposting.

He tweeted, “Any information you see about the election, pls confirm the authenticity before you post or repost. So much fake news flying around.

“Some people sit in their homes, create stuff & post it as news. Such could set our country ablaze. Pls, verify before posting or reposting.”

In other news, Kanyi Daily reported that following the order of a Federal High court in Lagos, the Chief Executive Officer of Seplat Energy PLC, Roger Brown, has stepped down from office

Roger Brown was restrained by the court from further parading himself as the firm’s CEO, pending the determination of a suit aggrieved stakeholders of the company filed against him and others.
