Mercy Johnson Saves Hadiza Abubakar From Drowning While Filming On Movie Set

Nollywood Actress, Hadiza Abubakar has narrated how she was saved from drowning by her colleague, Mercy Johnson.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, Hadiza Abubakar revealed that she was on set while shooting a new movie when she almost drowned and everyone thought she was acting.

The actress said it was only Mercy Johnson and the stuntman that noticed she was gasping for breath and saved her from the near-death experience.

She wrote; “Almost drowned while filming on set yesterday, but everyone thought I was acting. It dawned on them after some seconds, and I was losing my breath. Thanks to Aunty Mercy Johnson and the stuntman who noticed after some seconds and helped me out.”

KanyiDaily recalls that actress Boma Dokubo had also revealed that she worked on the same movie with her senior colleagues, Mercy Johnson and Destiny Etiko, without getting any payment.
