Chairman of Daar Communications Limited, Raymond Dokpesi is dead.
Daar Communications is the owner of AIT and Raypower television and radio respectively.
Dokpesi, who was a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), according to reports, died in Abuja at the age of 71.
Reports say a source revealed he died in an Abuja hospital after he suffered a stroke.
This reportedly happened after the recent Ramadan fast.
The AIT boss had since then been managing his health and was placed on occupational therapy to improve his daily activities before his sudden death.
