Meet Chidinma Pheoby Akpa, the doctor who kept Hilda Baci going for over 100 hours

Doctor Chidinma Pheoby Akpa has been thrown into the limelight after it was revealed that she is the Medical Team Lead for the Hilda Baci Cook-A-Thon; who provided continuous care for soon-to-be-announced Guinness World Record Holder Hilda Effiong Bassey.

Chidimma is a Medical Doctor, Cosmetic Surgeon and the Head of Clinical Training at Expiation Nigeria.

She is also the director of  CGE Aesthetics and Curvygirl Essentials where she provides cosmetic surgery procedures and aftercare services to men and women.

She graduated from The University of Ibadan and the University of Melbourne, Australia.

Doctor Chidinma Pheoby Akpa is also a physician member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and a registered doctor with the General Medical Council in the United Kingdom.

She is passionate about women’s health and empowerment.

Phoeby hopes to inspire women of all ages to continue in the pursuit of their goals because the empowered woman holds the power for great change in her world.

Recall that in March 2023, Hilda Baci announced her intention to attempt the record for the longest cooking marathon, which was previously held by Lata Tondon, lasting for 87 hours and 45 minutes in 2019.

She achieved her aim and set her own new record of 100 hours.
