Samclef stated this during a recent conversation with media personality Daddy Freeze while reacting to the purported cheating scandal involving a singer and politician, Banky W.
KanyiDaily recalls that Banky W has been trending on social media after he was accused of cheating on his wife, Adesua Etomi, with his fellow singer, Niyola, who is allegedly pregnant for him.
During their conversation, Samklef that Nigerians often exhibit excessive emotional reactions when it comes to the subject of infidelity, which he claimed is normal for human beings, including religious leaders.
The producer, who emphasized the need for people to accept others as they are, said that Nigerians should strive to overcome their tendency to idolize certain individuals and their seemingly perfect lives.
Noting that cheating is a common occurrence designed by God, Samklef cited biblical figures like Abraham, David, and Solomon, known for their polygamous relationships. He also quoted a verse from the Song of Solomon, Chapter 1, Verse 1, to further reinforce his stance.
He said, “Nigerians are too emotional. We react with emotions. We dey do bad things, but we dey cover am. Nigerians should stop idolizing some people’s lives. Let people be. Pastors, Imams… Who doesn’t cheat? Na God create us to cheat.”
KanyiDaily recalls that in 2020, Banky W was also alleged to have cheated on Adesua Etomi with actor Gabriel Afolayan’s wife, Banke.
